We may say tampo is to sulk or sulking in English. Humans, that is what we call TAMPO- pronounced as tæmpɒ. You are mad, but not really that mad and you’re sad but not sad like you’re going to hate that person Some instance, you don’t want to talk to that person at all if he / she does things that made you angry and sad. You act like it’s all good but that person can see it in your face that you’re not. Remember when your loved one especially your best friend or lover did something wrong that it made you feel both sad and angry? It disappointed you and you act like it was all okay even though you’re far from okay. So have you ever experienced being pikon? I guess we all experienced being pikon even for once in our life. For those humans who doesn’t know what pique or pikon means, it is the feeling of being angry or irritated / annoyed to a person who destroyed your ego while he/she is joking or said something about you. PIKON, which is pronounced as pēkɒn, in English, is pique. Got it? Okay, let me explain further by giving you an example. In English, the word kilig is close to the definition of enamored. Okay, let me ask you, Have you ever experienced someone -may it be someone you like or have a crush on or your lover, and he or she does things for you or say romantic things to you which makes you feel like you’re floating in the air + you feel like there are butterflies in your stomach ( collywobbles) + so much happiness that you feel like bursting + your smile is up to your ears + you feel like you’re flying to Pluto + you feel like you’re having a seizure but with feelings?! (Hahahah! Yes! With feelings!) Feelings, both happiness and in love you add everything together you’ll get the definition of the word KILIG in other words, it is the rush of excitement when you see or experience something romantic. Since I first mentioned the word kilig - pronounced as ki:lɪg, let’s start with this one first, shall we? So again, what is kilig? Yes as I’ve mentioned above, popular social networking sites like 9gag, tumblr, twitter and the like, describes kilig as the feels but then again, it’s not the whole definition.

(hahaha) Come on guys, most users here in Bitlanders are either from Philippines or Pakistan, we should at least learn a word or two from each other’s language besides it wouldn’t kill you if you’ll learn new words right? *tongue hanging out* So the next time I talk to you guys, you will already understand me. In this blog, I am going to teach you guys some common words that we use in our daily lives as Filipinos. This is what I am talking about, it is much better to use some words in my native language because I am already used to speaking that way using that specific word, so when I want to express something that is hard to explain in English, of course, I would want to use that word but then again, not all can understand me. Kilig in slang, especially in social netweorking sites like tumblr or 9gag, as the feels - but the feels has a lot of meaning depending on your sentence. Anyways, going back, do you know what hugot means? How about the word kilig? They both are Filipino words. Hahah! Kilig?) or simply just Hugot, I can’t tell them directly what I want to say simply because there is a language barrier. Hahaha! I know your eyes are having hearts now.

If you are a non-native English speaker like me, you want to express what you really want to explain in your own native language, Am I right or am I right? You get me right? Alright! (Hahaha *facepalm*)
